This lovely Mimbres pottery style plate has elaborate geometric designs, refined brushwork, very fine linework, and includes a bear figure in the center.  The mica flecks are naturally found in the terracotta colored Pueblo clay.  This piece by Joshua Garcia from Santo Domingo Pueblo and measures approximately 12 inches in diameter.
