The talented and passionate artist Dino Garcia of Kewa Pueblo was taught to make jewelry by his grandfather Leo Coriz, who was very well known for his silver work and passed on his skill to his family. This turtle pendant was designed and cast by hand using soft tufa stone. Turtle is one of the oldest symbols of creation and mother earth. This pendant features a gorgeous specimen of our Natural Cerrillos turquoise and a night sky design in the silver on the reverse.
